Januslifecoaching.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of B.R. Bainton Associates, a strategic business planning firm founded by Dr. Barry R. Bainton in 1985. It represents the outgrowth of 30 years of research and experience working with individual small business owners and social entrepreneurs on issues of business planning, start-ups, transitions and exit.
During this time he has learned and developed techniques that can assist you, as an individual, to deal with the transition of your business or your personal life. He can help you to adjust your personal and business choices to accommodate the change from one life stage to another.
B. R. Bainton Associates is a sole proprietorship. It operates as a virtual consulting firm. Associates are sole proprietors and LLCs professionals who collaborate with one another on a case- by- case bases.
When B. R. Bainton Associates takes the lead, it is the prime contractor and project manager. Other associates are then recruited to participate as specialists for specific roles on a project. They serve as subcontractors to the prime contractor on an “as needed” basis. At other times, B. R. Bainton Associates will serve in the subcontractor role to another associate who is the lead.
Dr. Bainton developed his virtual consulting model based on ten years of experience developing and working with consortia business structures. The virtual firm model helps to insure that the client receives the best quality service for the most reasonable price.
Dr. Barry Bainton is a graduate of Brown University. He earned his MA and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, and an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of International Management. He is an SBDC certified Small Business Consultant and a certified NxLevel Business Start-up Trainer.
Dr. Bainton has taught management and marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He serves and has served on the numerous advisory and policy boards for non-profit organizations at the community, state and national level. He is a past winner of the Volunteer of Year Award from the RI Business Volunteers for the Arts.
